On September 5, the Moscow cinema hosted the premiere of the comedy “Love is Evil”. The main roles in the film were played by Katerina Kovalchuk and Nikita Kologryvy. Showman Garik Kharlamov decided to support his beautiful wife and went to the cinema with her.
This is the couple’s first public appearance after the wedding. Garik’s mother Natalya Kharlamova watched the happy newlyweds closely. Katerina Kovalchuk’s mother-in-law came to the premiere with a bouquet for her beloved daughter-in-law.
On the red carpet, Garik and Katerina gently embraced each other and beamed with happiness. The actress chose a seductive minidress for the premiere, which showed off her slender legs in all their glory. “Good luck Garik!” the audience sighed, admiring the chiseled figures of the showman’s wife. Kharlamov did not dress up for the cinema: he dressed in black from head to toe and put his favourite baseball cap on his head.
Katerina will probably remember her work in the film “Love of Evil” for the rest of her life, because it was after the last day of shooting that Garik proposed to her. The actress said that it was very unexpected.
“He picked me up from the set: I got into the car in full make-up, which was all over the place because I was playing a heroine who cried forever. My eyes hurt so much, I didn’t even know he was planning something. We drove around, chatting about abstract topics, and at home he gave me flowers and, taking out his phone, said he wanted to make a video with me. And then he took out the precious box with the ring and got down on one knee,” Kovalchuk said.
At the premiere, the couple told reporters how they spent their honeymoon. Instead of the distant Maldives and the Emirates, the newlyweds went on a motor rally across Russia and stopped for several days in Sochi. According to the comedian, they chose such an unusual trip because of his aerophobia.
“Now, flying somewhere through third countries means a thousand planes. It is difficult for me even with one. And a car rally through Russia is really very romantic and fun,” the showman said.
Garik’s mother left her son and daughter-in-law alone for a while, sitting in the next row.

Looking at the happy newlyweds, Garik’s mother was preparing to get married herself. When journalists asked her if she was going to use the services of Larisa Guzeeva and her show “Let’s Get Married!”, Natalya Kharlamova simply refused: “Your words are in God’s ears. But I think we can do without intermediaries.”
Although Garik’s mother did not leave her son and daughter-in-law on the red carpet, in the hallway she discreetly gave the newlyweds some alone time and sat in the next row. It’s no secret that Natalya adores Katerina Kovalchuk, unlike Garik’s previous wife, Christina Asmus, with whom she did not have the warmest relationship. She calls Katerina a close friend and “her girl.” Natalya Kharlamova even attended Kovalchuk’s bachelorette party before the wedding, which is very rare for a mother-in-law.
After posing for photographers with her husband, Katerina did not ignore her co-star Nikita Kologrivoy. In the comedy “Love of Evil”, Nikita plays the charismatic robber Maxim, who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. According to the plot, Maxim gets into trouble and owes money to dangerous bandits. During the next robbery, he witnesses a desperate act committed by the owner of the apartment, Eva, who unexpectedly returns. The girl tries to burn everything that reminds her of her treacherous boyfriend, and, moreover, commit suicide. Maxim decides to stop Eva and save himself from even bigger troubles.
