It all happened on the night of May 19. Traffic police officers stopped a car with Stavropol residents in the village of Tbilisskaya for violating traffic rules.
“At that time, when the police officers were checking the driver’s documents, three passengers, including a woman, got out of the car and, to prevent the driver from assuming administrative responsibility, used violence against the police officer, inflicting multiple punches and kicks on his head and trunk,” said the press service of the investigation department.
A criminal case was opened under the article on the use of violence dangerous to life and health against a government official. According to him, violators face up to 10 years in prison.
The investigation was brought under control by the head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Krasnodar Territory, Andrey Maslov.
