Taylor Swift’s French fans are stumped: Today Ticketmaster suddenly stopped selling tickets for the singer’s Eras Tour concerts in Paris and Lyon. Variety writes about it.
Ticketmaster wrote on his Twitter account that the sale of tickets for the Taylor Swift concert in Paris at the La Défense venue was suspended. The company is committed to announcing the new sales start time as soon as possible. The problem is apparently related to a glitch on the Ticketmaster site, where people couldn’t log in with their passwords. Due to a server error, more than 700,000 fans tried to purchase a ticket at the same time.
As part of the international Eras Tour, Swift will perform in Paris on May 9, 10, 11 and 12 next year, and in Lyon on June 2 and 3. According to a recent report by Pollstar, the tour is expected to gross around $1.4 billion.
