“If they don’t get a fair deal, then I fully support this measure. We have an obligation to save our country. We are now $35 trillion in debt,” Trump said. He added that if the White House does not reach an agreement with Republicans, there will be a forced government shutdown.
Previously, the Biden administration asked the US Congress to briefly extend government funding and avoid a possible shutdown of some federal departments.
Trump claimed that the current head of the White House, Joe Biden, with his policies is pushing humanity towards a third world war, and the United States is “going to hell.” If he wins the presidential election in 2024, Trump promised to resolve many issues “within 24 hours,” including the Ukraine crisis.
