The Israeli El Al flight was heading from Warsaw to Tel Aviv and was forced to land in Antalya. According to Israeli media, it landed in Turkey because a passenger was not feeling well and local authorities did not want to refuel the plane. The plane later took off from Türkiye.
The incident is due to the fact that air traffic between Israel and Turkey has been suspended since October 2023.
