Dmitry Shepelev, 41, lost his job as a TV presenter in October 2024. Since last fall, he has hosted a weekly family TV show, “In the Circle of Friends,” on the Rossiya TV channel. Stars and viewers came to Shepelev’s studio with their pets and told stories from the lives of four-legged and feathered family members. Additionally, the program contains many tips for pet owners. In October 2024, the program “In the circle of friends” instead of Dmitry Shepelev will be hosted by actor Sergei Druzyak and his border collie assistant Prime. By the way, six months ago Druzyak was invited on air with Shepelev in the program “In the circle of friends.”
Additionally, Shepelev hosted two podcasts on the radio and Internet platform: one about artificial intelligence and the second, “Dad at Home,” about dads and children. Both have not been updated since early summer. In the spring of 2024, Dmitry launched a project on Rutube called “Date with a Trailer” – he produced and presented. But this project was also suspended after several releases. Now Shepelev is immersed in the process of inventing and producing new stories. Last year, Dmitry Shepelev took a business production course at the School of Event Production. Shepelev has a diploma from the Faculty of Journalism of the Belarusian State University. When he met and lived with Zhanna Friske, he later hosted the TV show “Property of the Republic” (with Yuri Nikolaev) and, after her death, television projects: “Two Voices”, “Actually”, “You Are Like Me “. ”, “Great Country Show”.
Recall that when Dmitry Shepelev left the scandalous talk show “Actually” in February 2020, he dreamed of producing and hosting programs for children and parents. Dmitry Shepelev is raising 11-year-old Platon (son of Dmitry and singer Zhanna Friske), 3-year-old Tikhon (son of Dmitry and his common-law wife, designer Ekaterina Tulupova), and 10-year-old Lada (daughter from Ekaterina Tulupova from her ex-husband).
