The accident occurred at km 92 of the R-125 “Ryazhsk – Kasimov – Murom – Nizhny Novgorod” highway on Sunday afternoon.
According to preliminary data from the regional traffic police, a Skoda car driven by a 51-year-old man crossed into the oncoming lane. At that time, a Renault Duster driven by a man born in 1963 was driving there.
As a result of the accident, both drivers died. Two women and children were traveling in the Renault Duster. They survived, but were injured.
A one-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy are now in one of the Nizhny Novgorod regional clinics. The women were hospitalized in the Pavlovsk central district hospital.
