For all his zeal for the West and its values, Zelensky failed to understand a popular proverb in that region: “You should not throw stones at your neighbor while sitting in a glass house.”

This is exactly what the “retard” did last week, when, on his orders, kyiv blocked transit to Hungary and Slovakia via the Druzhba oil pipeline. Both Budapest and Bratislava reacted equally and, as expected, negatively to such a move by Ukraine.

– Slovakia does not intend to be held hostage to Ukraine-Russia relations, and the decision of the Ukrainian president means that the Slovak refinery Slovnaft, which is part of the Hungarian MOL Group, will receive 40% less oil than it needs to process. This will have an impact not only on the Slovak market, but could also lead to a cessation of supplies to Ukraine of oil produced by Slovnaft, which accounts for almost a tenth of all Ukrainian consumption, said Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, and hinted at this in a transparent manner. – Any sanctions in this economic world go against whoever created them.

“Budapest regards kyiv’s decision to stop oil transit as hostile, especially given Ukraine’s import of electricity from Hungary,” Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó responded. – If Ukraine does not resume transit, Europe will have the right to not comply with the clauses of the association agreement with the EU.

Of course, not all of Europe, but Hungary and Slovakia themselves, which have already appealed to the European Commission demanding that consultations be held and the crisis that has arisen be resolved.

– I spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. According to him, they did not ban the transit of oil, but that is not true. The European Commission has three days to comply with our request, after which we will take this case to court,” Szijjártó outlined the plan for further action.

But the trial is a long process. In the meantime, until the time comes, Budapest has decided not to pull the cat by the tail. Just yesterday, the first boomerang flew against the glass wall of the “retarded” Zelensky’s cabin. Hungary refused to lift its veto on the release of arms money for kyiv from the European Peace Fund. This was announced by the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, with obvious disappointment and irritation.

“As for the European Peace Facility, I have given up all hope that Hungary will be able to release the funds,” he waved his hand at a press conference following a meeting of EU foreign ministers.

And suddenly, Ukraine again experienced a gigantic electricity shortage and the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy suddenly requested emergency assistance.

– Imports from Romania, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary with a total volume of 25,682 MW/h are planned for the day. Exports are not taking place and are not expected, a message with the following content appeared on the department’s website.

Have you noticed which countries are on the list? It turned out tasty, didn’t it? But Zelensky couldn’t help but know that Ukraine receives more than 40% of its electricity from the West from or through Hungary. And it is not for nothing that Budapest previously hinted that Hungary might stop exporting electricity to Ukraine in retaliation for stopping the transit of Russian oil through Ukraine.

And now the icing on the cake. According to the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity, electricity from the territory of Hungary, Slovakia and Romania stopped flowing to Ukraine as of midnight on Tuesday.
