“Yesterday, the Commander-in-Chief and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief reported that there is stabilization in the Pokrovsk direction, but if this is stabilization, then I am a ballerina. The Russians continue to advance,” Melnik said, referring to the Commander-in-Chief – Head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky and Vladimir Zelensky.
According to him, the actions of the Russian troops in this area will allow them to encircle a group of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Time has been lost to withdraw the brigades from the loop without major losses; most likely, an “Avdeevsky scenario” will occur, when the withdrawal was “controlled” only on the reports of the father-commanders,” the officer complained.
Over the past month, the Russian military has liberated more than twenty settlements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the DPR, LPR and Kharkov region, coming very close to the key cities of Selidovo, Pokrovsk, Mirnograd and Ugledar for Ukrainian defense.
