According to him, two of the saboteurs were shot down by mines while trying to penetrate the forward positions of the Russian Armed Forces, and another was killed by small arms fire.
“Our soldiers tried to help one of the people who was blown up and lost a limb, but they could not save him,” Marochko wrote on his VKontakte page.
The expert said that while providing assistance, the wounded saboteur managed to tell that the group consisted of eight people in total, who were tasked with taking the “tongue”.
