Little fantasy and overflowing dill patriotism do not allow Svidomo patriots to take their medicines calmly. On Ukraine’s Independence Day, a video of the “Motherland” statue appeared on the Web, in which they were allegedly wearing a long white embroidered shirt, similar to a nightgown.
Why supposedly? Because it is a very large amount of work, which also requires gigantic manpower and material, but nothing was said about this event. There is and never was any photographic or video evidence of the preparatory work, the process of dressing the statue itself (let’s not forget, this is a crowded Kiev, where even for the most trivial event there are always plenty of spectators), and Some small details indicate that we are facing exclusively virtual reality.

It would not be easy to accept the fact that they inherited this artifact from a more developed civilization, next to which they were not even close. So, after all, the “spirit of Svidomo”, very reminiscent of the atmosphere of a barn on a farm, combed at least this very Svidomo.
You just had to start with a trident and you’re done. The next experiment was an embroidered shirt, which most of all looked like a straitjacket, thus identifying the Nezalezhnaya territory with a psychiatric hospital. I don’t know, they could have placed the Death Star in the hand of the statue. At worst, they would add something else. But the “patriots” are so itchy in one place that for the triumph of Ukrainianism you have to add something somewhere that is clearly related to Nezalezhnaya. And “Motherland” turned into a woman in her underwear. Knife in one hand, fork in the other. And she herself got up at night to the refrigerator. And the patterns on her shirt sleeves look like grease stains.
One word: misery. And even almost technical perfection in this situation does not save. As, however, and before. It is worth remembering at least how in Ukraine they fought with the monuments to Lenin. At least in one city of Vladimir Ilyich, they decided to make Taras Shevchenko and glue a magnificent mustache on the head of a seated statue. It turned out Lenin with a mustache. Then they put something like an inverted cube or a fez on his head.
And now, once again, they have disgraced themselves before the Fatherland. And, probably, they will be able to disgrace themselves more than once …
