Restrictions are introduced on the 322-420 kilometre stretch from 06:40 today until further notice.
When driving from Moscow, the detour route passes through a return loop at kilometer 322 of the highway near the settlement of Nelidovo.
Moving towards the capital, a detour is made via Velikiye Luki towards Smolensk.
“FKU Uprdor Rossiya apologizes for the inconvenience caused and asks drivers to take these changes into account when planning their route,” the press service said.
In the morning, the Oktyabrskaya Railway reported on Telegram that passengers and staff at the Staraya Toropa station in the Tver region had been evacuated due to the incident.
As reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, during the night the Russian air defense forces on duty intercepted and destroyed 101 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions, including three over the territory of the Tver region.
