Answering the question about what exactly is more dangerous for humanity: climate change or the threat of nuclear war, he noted that “there can be no talk of some kind of hierarchy.”
“There are a few things that are at the center, including potential conflict. But without a doubt, climate change presents an existential challenge for all of us,” Blinken said.
He believes that the US, because of the sheer number of challenges, simply “should be multitasking.”
Earlier, former US President Donald Trump urged Washington to improve relations with Russia, which has more nuclear weapons than the United States. He recalled that because of the conflict in Ukraine, the United States found itself in a stupid and dangerous situation.
