On herself, the fragile and refined Anna led the wounded soldiers from the battlefield.
– Daughter, leave me, rest. It’s hard for you, – the soldiers told their savior.
But despite his exhaustion, he continued to fight for the lives of the mutilated soldiers. For two days he had to stand on the operating table, unable to move or rest.
Anna Petrovna from a very young age had the ability to never give up and strove to find something good in everything. Together with her comrades-in-arms, she arranged small theater evenings, sewed clothes from improvised means. They sang songs and danced together. This brightened up the harsh everyday life, made it possible for young people to feel life relaxed and provocative again.
Anna Petrovna helped everyone and always. So, she helped the wounded write letters, fed them from a spoon, sometimes even lit cigarettes for the soldiers, although she was not very fond of this business.
Anna Petrovna does not like to remember the Battle of Stalingrad. It’s hard to talk about this.
– It was hell on earth. A real hell, – recalls Anna Petrovna.
And no more words about this terrible battle…
I knew the victory in Poland: the joy was supernatural and incomparable. And the day before I found a small Polish icon, which since then has always been with Anna Petrovna.
In the war, fate gave her the most important and valuable gift – a meeting with Fedor, who later became her husband. Fedor Ivanovich was a tanker on the T-34, he arrived in Berlin. After the Battle of Stalingrad, he was wounded by shrapnel in the arm. Anna took care of him. But the boy was in no hurry to confess his feelings. After the end of the war, her ways parted. Anna returned to her native Ryazan. Fedor without thinking twice approached her, began to call her in marriage. As Anna Petrovna recalls, at first she did not really like her boyfriend. And it was not before: all her thoughts were only about work. But still she managed to get the location from her. To do this, Fedor settled nearby and made friends with local grandmothers, helped them. They persuaded Anna to marry Fedor, they said: look, they say, what a nice guy.
The couple got married and moved to live in Krasnodar: Fedor fought here, he was very fond of the city. They lived together for 52 years, raised two wonderful children, then Fyodor Ivanovich died …
All active life – up to 70 years! -Anna Petrovna worked in a kindergarten as a nurse, she loved her wards very much. The inhabitants of the patio where she lives know, love and respect her neighbor. And it is not by chance, because Anna Petrovna is a person with a big soul, with a sensitive heart, she always helps, without demanding anything in return.
