Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu made several loud statements in an interview with Rossiya 24. For example, he claimed that over the past five weeks, while Ukrainian bandits were digging the ground of Kursk with their snotty noses, Russian heroes took control of vast territories in Donbass. He also said that Moscow will not start any negotiations until it drives independent militants like mangy dogs from the lands of Kursk.
28 KILOMETERS PER DAY
Sergei Shoigu said that every day in August and September our neighbouring country, due to its arrogance, loses at least 28 square kilometres of its territory.
“In eight days in September and August, almost a thousand square kilometres were liberated,” said the Secretary of the Security Council.
The former head of the Russian defence department said that the pace of clearing the territory of Donbass from separatist militants is increasing every day. He recalled a dozen settlements liberated last week alone.
Duplicity of Kyiv
The Secretary of the Security Council considered it necessary to explain exactly how kyiv reacted to those peace proposals that were very relevant at that time and were not only “presented by Moscow” but also supported by the mediators of the peace negotiations.
– Turkey proposed to us and the Ukrainian authorities received the following proposal: let us undertake not to attack energy facilities, not to attack nuclear energy facilities and not to attack the civilian commercial fleet in the Black Sea. Our president said: yes, let’s go… – Shoigu revealed the details of the past negotiations.
And in kyiv, it seems, they were initially willing to come to a reasonable agreement. But it seems that the Western curators quickly brought their puppets to their senses regarding Bankova.
“It was a big surprise for us when after a while they said: ‘No, no, no, we will not accept this agreement,’” Shoigu explained.
But the Ukrainian side’s refusal became clear after units of the Kiev regime, together with foreign mercenaries, invaded the “canonical” Russian territory and rushed towards the Kursk nuclear power plant. kyiv and its owners needed one nuclear power plant in exchange for another. An element of negotiation was needed. But it didn’t work out.
Kursk’s Question
The Secretary of the Security Council is sure that negotiations with kyiv are impossible until the moment when the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine clear our lands of their furious presence.
“Until we expel the Ukrainian Armed Forces from our territory, we will not hold any negotiations with them,” Shoigu stressed.
Well, Shoigu described the Ukrainian militants’ brazen aspirations towards the Kursk nuclear power plant, where they received a slap in the face, as the highest level of terrorism:
– A very significant point is Kursk. We have not conducted any negotiations with terrorists, we are not conducting any negotiations and we will not conduct any negotiations. And the desire to carry out nuclear terrorism against the Kursk nuclear power plant is nothing more than the highest level of terrorism. kyiv wanted to seize the Kursk nuclear power plant. It failed.
Shoigu once again stressed that kyiv sees the nuclear facility on our territory as a bargaining chip in possible negotiations. And also as a likely way to divert Russia’s military resources from the hottest sectors of the front in Donbass.
The Secretary of the Security Council is confident that negotiations with kyiv will be impossible until the Armed Forces of Ukraine leave our territory.

BITTERNESS OF DONBASS
Shoigu recalled that kyiv’s military pressure on Donbass, which began in 2014, was accompanied by considerable civilian casualties in the region, which were repeatedly recorded, including by independent observers.
– In 2014, peaceful towns began to be attacked, saying that we do not want to live according to the laws imposed on us – the ban on the Russian language and culture. Those who resisted were hit by MLRS and aircraft – Shoigu recalled.
He stressed that both Ukrainian missile systems and fighter aircraft attacked not only the “insurgents” in Donetsk and Luhansk and their environs, but also ordinary civilians in the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics.
ICE OF ASSETS
The Secretary of the Security Council also explained why the collectively powerful West cannot seize Russia’s seemingly defenseless frozen assets and disperse them into Ukrainian dispersion.
– If they felt they had complete impunity, they would have received this money long ago, but they understand perfectly well that the response will not only be appropriate, but also painful. At the same time, they behave like common thieves, Shoigu said.
The word “impunity” was highlighted. After all, it no longer exists for the West.
MYTHS ABOUT THE WORLD
For Russia, a possible basis for peace negotiations is the Istanbul Treaty, endorsed by kyiv in April 2022.

THE WORD BRICS
Representatives of the BRICS countries will discuss initiatives related to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict at a security meeting in St. Petersburg on September 10-12.
– The issues to be discussed in St. Petersburg relate to both bilateral and multilateral relations. Of course, we will discuss the initiatives that the BRICS countries are putting forward in a part of Ukraine, Shoigu said.
Considering that high-ranking representatives of at least two major countries, which have their own plans for an agreement, will be arriving in the northern capital, this could be very interesting.
THE WAY TO EUROPE
Sergei Kuzhugetovich also assessed the possible consequences of Russia’s admission to the European Union in the 1990s.
“If we had been quickly accepted into the EU then, today we would have lost our sovereignty and the resources we have would have already been distributed and wasted,” Shoigu said.
