Yandex Shops has a new service – delivery of a wide range of products within an hour. Now, in addition to groceries, you can order, for example, appliances and household items with fast delivery. Precisely for this purpose, the service opened the first large dark store in the Nagorny district of Moscow, and by the end of summer its number will increase to three.
The surface area of the department stores will be up to a thousand square meters. Compared to standard dark stores, these stores store almost twice as many products (about 10 thousand) and their delivery coverage area is 7 times larger than the standard one.
Orders from large stores will be delivered by automatic courier within 60 minutes from the moment of ordering. Buyers will also be able to choose any convenient delivery time. Thanks to the new service, Lavka customers will have the opportunity to place not only small orders for a specific request, but also large purchases, for example, for a week.
Users of the service can now purchase children’s products, household chemicals, and household and repair products. To determine the most popular range of non-food products, service specialists studied what customers with express delivery most often order on Yandex Market. The store will continue to analyze customer preferences and expand the list of categories available for ordering. For example, products from the categories “Kitchen Products” and “Home Appliances” will soon appear in online stores. All users who are in the delivery zone of new large dark stores can try the “Big Store”. However, customers will also have the opportunity to place an order for delivery in 10 minutes from the usual list of products. The new service is available in the Yandex Stores application, as well as in Yandex Food, Market, Delivery and Yandex Go stores.
