“Recently, we have been observing the increased activity of foreign PMCs in the zone of Russia’s special military operation,” the Foreign Ministry said in a comment.
Foreign private military companies, the diplomat emphasized, are involved in the crimes of Ukrainian neo-Nazis.
In addition, Zakharova noted, PMCs are actively offering their services in the training of fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the territory of Eastern European countries.
Recall that the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened criminal cases against 160 foreign mercenaries who participated in hostilities on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is noted that in total cases are investigated against citizens of 33 countries. Among them are Georgia, the United States, Latvia, Sweden and other states.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in turn, said that some countries are sending their military personnel to Ukraine under the guise of mercenaries.
