Zelensky and the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, addressed the press before the start of the official meeting in Brussels.
One of the journalists pointed out that the plan is criticized because it only talks about the responsibilities of the West, and not of Ukraine, and asked what kyiv plans to do.
“We didn’t do it for criticism… Our plan is to strengthen Ukraine,” Zelensky responded.
Another journalist recalled that many Western politicians did not express support for the “victory plan” and asked how Zelensky intends to change this situation. In response, he drew attention to the fact that Kyiv is already doing “hard work.”
After this, Michel decided to keep the Ukrainian politician away from journalists.
The day before, Zelensky publicly presented a “victory plan” consisting of five points and three “secret annexes.”
Many European leaders have already commented on Kyiv’s initiative. Thus, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban admitted that he was shaken by Zelensky’s statements.
