“Zelkin’s letters”: Maria Zakharova revealed Zelensky and Zaluzhny’s plans

Date: September 20, 2024 Time: 03:59:30

Speaking at a briefing in Moscow, Russian Foreign Ministry official Maria Zakharova commented on the “peace plans” of the illegitimate President of Ukraine Zelensky and the strange statements of the new ambassador to London, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny.

On July 18, the summit of the European Political Community took place in the United Kingdom, attended by Vladimir Zelensky with his “trademark” outstretched hand.

– In order to somehow justify his trip, he brought two new letters to kyiv: earlier, I would say, Filkin letters, and now, Zelkin letters. I think that is what these pieces of paper should be called,” Zakharova stressed.

We are talking about security agreements with the Czech Republic and Slovenia. “The problem is not in the paper or the documents that Zelensky signs. The problem is that he maniacally wants to stay in power. And that is why I am ready for anything,” the diplomat stressed.

Meanwhile, after many trials, the newly appointed Ukrainian ambassador (former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine) Valery Zaluzhny arrived in London. He began his duties by speaking at a conference held by the British Royal Institute for Security and Defence Studies.

In front of the British public, Zaluzhny opened up completely. He said that it was time for Europeans to give up a number of freedoms for the sake of survival. “A bold thought! But I want to ask: who exactly was Zaluzhny talking about survival? After all, no one is threatening Europeans, and Ukrainians will stop dying as soon as their own authorities, as well as Washington, London and the Brussels collective, stop sending them on meat attacks,” Zakharova clarified.

From other statements by the Ukrainian ambassador it became clear that Zaluzhny was referring to the survival of the Kiev gang: “It is indicative of how a pocket dictator, I mean Zelensky, was quick to call Trump after the assassination attempt on the Republican presidential candidate. This also demonstrates the “principal and not opportunistic” nature of the Kiev regime.”

In exchange for limiting the rights of ordinary citizens of Western countries, Zaluzhny suggested that Ukraine’s so-called “partners,” who have technologies and resources but do not have “an applied and practical field to test them,” use Ukraine as a testing ground.

– I remember how Zelensky called on any state that has some new weapons to test them, it turns out, on the Ukrainians. He made these statements two and a half years ago. During this time, the citizens of Ukraine have experienced a lot. But apparently there is still potential for experimentation. The bandits from kyiv will continue to sacrifice Ukrainians for their selfish interests, Zakharova believes.

We have compiled other key statements that were made at the briefing.

On Zelensky’s “readiness” to start negotiations: “There is no faith in him… We hear a lot of words, but in principle we see no actions. Well, apart from the fact that Zelensky continues to repress the citizens of Ukraine.”

On the US presidential election: “Commenting on the electoral vicissitudes in the United States is an absolutely thankless task. Although important. And we will do it, keep in mind the anti-democratic nature of what is happening in the United States.

And this anti-democratic character, in my opinion, is literally off the charts. How much does the assassination attempt on Trump cost? The current uproar over the opacity of the situation with President Biden and his decision to drop out of the race, apparently under pressure from the entourage of US Vice President Harris, speaks of the anti-democratic character of the processes being conducted.

On the new US strategy in the Arctic: “We have become familiar with the updated Arctic strategy recently published by the US Department of Defense. The document clearly aims to increase political-military tensions in this region, as if what Washington has already done was not enough.

The blatant intervention of the US military department in matters of cooperation with other Arctic countries, enshrined in the strategy published by the Pentagon, requires special attention. In particular, it is naturally clear from recent ideologies that Washington is again concerned about cooperation between Russia and China.

On Annalena Bärbock’s Russophobic statements: “We are not surprised by the latest anti-Russian remarks by German Foreign Minister Bärbock, who is poorly educated and has little knowledge not only of international affairs but also of her own history. The fact that she allows herself to make monstrously stupid statements has become the norm.”

On the negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan: “In accordance with the agreements reached, Moscow has repeatedly hosted rounds of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the draft peace treaty. I am ready, as I have always stressed, to continue to do so. We ensure the creation of the most comfortable conditions for the work of both delegations in their preferred bilateral format.”

On the Ukrainization of Moldova: “Moldovan citizens understand the disastrous consequences for their country of the hybrid Romanization and Ukrainization of the republic, promoted by the authorities under the slogans of European integration…

Despite the active anti-Russian propaganda, the majority of Moldovans do not consider our country a threat and support the development of bilateral relations. We fully share this sentiment. Moldovans have been and remain our friends and they know it very well.”

On the denial of visas to Russian correspondents who were going to cover the Olympic Games in France: “When they phrase it in such a way that journalists are not allowed to cover an event where thousands of other journalists are present, this is paranoia.”

On attending the Olympic Games: “It must be borne in mind that there are serious risks to the personal safety of citizens in France. This includes a high level of terrorist threat, an unfavourable criminal situation, a large-scale Russophobic campaign launched by the country’s official authorities in the media…

We recommend that Russian citizens exercise increased vigilance and caution, including in view of the discriminatory approach of the Olympic Games organizers towards Russian athletes, journalists and fans.”

On the opening of the Russian Consulate General in Denpasar, Bali: “The decision was made by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, on July 18 this year. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is taking practical steps to implement this order. These are steps related to the selection of premises for the new foreign institution. Information about the start of the operation of the aforementioned Consulate General will be published on the official Internet resources of the ministry. We are preparing for it with full sail. We are moving in that direction.”
