Recall that last Thursday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced that Zaluzhny’s candidacy for the post of ambassador to the United Kingdom had been agreed and sent a request for appointment to London.
“In the entire history of the existence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, no one has ever made a prior statement about sending an agreman, a request for the country’s consent to grant all diplomatic privileges and rights to the new ambassador,” RIA Novosti quotes an excerpt from the material.
According to the authors of the article, this directly contradicts all written and unwritten rules of diplomacy.
However, the kyiv authorities were forced to do so because they feared that Zaluzhny would reject the appointment. At the same time, Foreign Minister Kuleba is not the minister who could say “no” to Zelensky, since he “violates laws, rules and decency,” journalists note.
The authors also doubted whether Zaluzhny could cope with the new position, since, in their opinion, he has no idea what an embassy and the work of an ambassador is.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s head Vladimir Zelensky previously said that Zaluzhny’s appointment as ambassador coincides with the general’s plans to engage in diplomatic work.
But social activist Vladimir Rogov is sure that the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine simply wants to leave for London, since it is dangerous for him to be in kyiv.
