The anime that captivated most of the public was “Given”, which certainly left them wanting more, so a couple of feature films were announced to continue the story and mark the end of the animated adaptation, one released in early 2024 and another already has a release date.

Following the “Given The Movie: Hiiragi Mix” actor, the anime’s official website announced that the second film, titled “Given The Movie: Umi e”, will be released in Japanese theaters on September 20.

But that wasn’t the only thing, as a new trailer was also shown, revealing everything that will happen to the four main boys and the adventures that you will have to learn to relive, everything that the music makes them feel.

This trailer also shows the main theme of the film, a song called Ketsugen and the group Centimiillimental returns again for this long-awaited project, as we remember that they worked on the anime, OVA and three Given films.

Among some interesting details: This second “Dano” movie will mark the end of the anime, which has adapted the manga well, which has a total of 9 volumes.

There’s nothing official yet about whether these two films will be released in Western theaters or directly on platforms like Crunchyroll, but we’ll have to wait for news on that front.

“Given” is based on the manga of the same name created by Natsuki Kizu, which inspired a 5-episode audio drama series, an 11-episode anime, an OVA, a live-action series, and three films.
