In the world of manga, authors don’t always dream about life or try to keep some problems secret, but sometimes there are encounters between them that make them special, as was the case with Akira Toriyama and Eiichiro Oda, creator of Dragon Ball and One Piece respectively.
Depending on what the user in Dragon Ball Author also expressed the potential that the creator of One Piece has.
In this sense, it seems their relationship went beyond professional, as a few years ago Toriyama-sensei organized a dinner-like meeting at a hotel, and his guest of honor was Eiichiro Oda and some of his close friends.

What was little known was that there were about 20 people present at this special meeting, including the One Piece manga artist and his family members, as well as Akira Toriyama and his family. This means that not only did they somehow coexist, but so did their families.
But it doesn’t end there, as they were joined by some of the voice actors from the One Piece anime, including the wonderful Mayumi Tanaka, who gives life to Luffy and above all has a connection to the Dragon Ball, as she is also the voice of Krillin. She was, without a doubt, the guest of honor.
It’s an extremely interesting fact, but sometimes it’s rare to hear of some mangaka getting together to have great conversations outside of their professional activities or work.
