The anime industry continues to be very popular, and throughout 2023, fans were part of major productions that filled theaters and even trended on social media, so they stood out in some ways outside of Japan.
The 2024 Tokyo Anime Awards Festival, an event that is one of the most prestigious in the country, announced some of the awards that anime products have won as the votes of more than 75,000 people who chose it were counted. Darling.
First of all, the film “First Dunk” was recognized as the best animated film, and the creator of this story, Takehiko Inoue, received two awards: for best screenwriter and for best director. Additionally, Daiki Nakazawa received an award in the Best Visual Art category.
Meanwhile, another anime that took the world by storm last year was Oshi no Ko, a series that won the Best TV Series award as well as the Best Sound/Artist award thanks to YOASOBI for its Idol theme.
