Trigun Stampede to Name Its Final Phase Trigun Stargaze | The Spaghetti Code

Date: July 9, 2024 Time: 03:40:38

It’s been a while since there was any news about a sequel to the Trigun Stampede anime, a new take on the 90s anime and manga series Trigun created by Yasuhiro Nightow, but they’ve finally revealed more news about it.

During Anime Expo 2024 and during a special panel discussion on the series, Studio Orange, the studio behind this new adaptation, revealed the title that will have the final phase, Trigun Stargaze, which will continue the adventures of Vash, Wolfwood and Meryl in the desert.

This means that Trigun Stargaze will take place 2 and a half years after what was shown in the first season, so it’s possible that characters will appear who are part of events that are more in line with the original story.

To mark the first anniversary of this adaptation, creator Yasuhiro Nightow himself shared a special illustration featuring Vash and Woldwood, who somehow became friends through action-packed adventures.

On the other hand, other individual images were shown: Vash in his dark form, Knives, and the punisher Wolfwood.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the sequel will be streamed on Crunchyroll, meaning Trigun Stargaze will be available as part of its catalog.

There aren’t many details about its premiere or possible release date yet, but the studio seems to be working hard to bring us a great version of this classic that became a hit a few years ago.

This new adaptation of Trigun Stampede is based on the manga by Nightou-sensei, with Kenji Mutoh directing the anime under the mantle of Orange alongside Takehiko Oki and Koji Tajima.
