Arthur Gomez is a valuable asset for any South American coming to the RPL. He has already played in Europe and knows what football can be like outside the Brazilian championship. The Dynamo newcomer played in Portugal for two years. In the summer of 2021, Arthur Gomez moved from Santos to Estoril as a free agent and had a decent season there. As a result, a year later the winger was bought by the top club in the Primeira Liga, Sporting.
As part of the Lisbon team, the Brazilian played in the Champions League group stage and the Europa League playoffs. In addition, in less than two hours on the Champions League field, he managed to score two goals. First, Arthur Gomez hit the Tottenham goal in a home match (2-0), and then, in another home match, he put the ball into the Eintracht goal (1-2). Arthur Gomez graduated from the popular Brazilian club Santos, which he joined at the age of 13. The winger was playing for the Fish and made his professional debut in November 2016. Interestingly, Arthur Gomez’s friends include Real Madrid striker Rodrigo, with whom he played at Santos. And the future Dynamo newcomer also communicates with the biggest star of Brazilian football, Neymar. When the winger was studying at the Pesces youth academy, Neymar was shining in the first team.
