Dynamo Minsk has reached an agreement on the contract with former NHL forward Dillon Dube, the press service of the Belarusian club reports. Earlier, the Canadian forward was charged with rape and received an indefinite leave from his last NHL club, the Calgary Flames.
The trial of five former members of Canada’s 2018 junior national team will not begin until April 2025.
Last NHL season, Dube played in 43 games for Calgary, scoring 7 (3+4) points with a utility rating of -13.
Dube played for the Canadian junior national team at two World Junior Championships: at the 2017 World Cup he won silver medals and at the 2018 World Cup he became a world champion as part of his team, serving as team captain.

Matvey Michkov signed a contract with Philadelphia
Russian forward Matvey Michkov has signed a rookie contract with the Philadelphia Flyers, the club’s press service reported.
The agreement is for three years.
Recall that Michkov moved to SKA in 2020. The forward went through all levels of the club system and as part of SKA-1946 became the winner of the Kharlamov Cup and the best sniper of the victorious MHL playoffs. Michkov is the first hockey player born in 2004 to play in the KHL.
He became the runner-up and the most valuable player of the 2021 World Cup, the best sniper and scorer of the tournament. In November 2021, he made his debut for the Russian national team – he became the youngest hockey player in the history of the national team, and a little later – the youngest scorer in the history of the USSR and Russian national teams.
Michkov was selected by the Flyers in the first round, seventh overall, in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. In the full KHL season he played on loan in Sochi, played 47 games in the regular season and scored 41 (19+22) points.

Goalkeeper Ilya Samsonov has moved from Toronto to Las Vegas
Russian goaltender Ilya Samsonov has left the Toronto Maple Leafs and joined the Vegas Golden Knights, the NHL Network announced on its Twitter account.
Vegas’ deal with the goalkeeper is for one year.
Samsonov, 27, has been playing for Toronto since 2022. In the last NHL regular season, he played in 40 games, won 23 games and recorded three shutouts. The goaltender’s safety factor was 3.13 and his save percentage was 89.0. In the playoffs, the player played five games, won one, with a safety coefficient of 3.01 and 89.6% of reflected shots.
Recall that Toronto ended the season after losing in seven games in the first round of the NHL playoffs against the Boston Bruins.

Stamkos signs $36 million deal with Nashville
Former Tampa Bay Lightning forward and captain Steven Stamkos has signed a contract with the Nashville Predators, NHL insider Pierre Lebrun announced on his Twitter account X.
The agreement with the club is for four years with a salary cap of $8 million.
Stamkos, 34, has played for Tampa Bay for his entire NHL career (since 2008). The forward played 1,082 games with the Club, scoring 555 goals and providing 582 assists, earning a total of 1,137 performance points. He won the Stanley Cup twice with the Lightning: in 2020 and 2021.
Stamkos previously posted a post on his social media page, where he said goodbye to Tampa. His contract with the club expired today, July 1.

Nikita Zadorov signed a contract with Boston for 30 million dollars
Russian defenseman Nikita Zadorov has reached an agreement with the Boston Bruins hockey club, NHL insider Darren Dreger announced on his Twitter account on social media X.
The agreement with the club is for six years with a salary cap of 5 million dollars.
The defenseman’s contract with the Vancouver Canucks expired on July 1 and he entered the free agent market.
In the NHL playoffs, Zadorov played in 13 games, scoring four goals and four assists with a rating of +3. In the 2023/2024 regular season, the defender, in addition to the Canucks, played for the Calgary Flames. In total, he played in 75 games, scoring six goals and providing 14 assists, adding 20 points.

Jake Guentzel signed a seven-year, $63 million deal with Tampa Bay.
The Tampa Bay Lightning hockey club has signed forward Jake Guentzel, the club’s press service announced.
The deal is for seven years, with a salary cap hit of $9 million and the total value of the transaction being $63 million.
As reported by expert Pierre Lebrun on his social media page, the payments will be distributed as follows:
1st and 2nd year: $1 million; 3rd: $3,957,895; 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th: $1 million.
Annual bonuses: 1st year – $12,263,157; 2nd: $8,947,368; 3rd – $4 million; 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th: $6,957,895.
Guentzel, 29, won the 2017 Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins. In March 2024, he was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes. In total, in the last regular season, Guentzel played 30 games, in which he scored 25 (8+17) points.
In the playoffs, the forward played 11 games, scored four goals and gave five assists, adding a total of nine points.
Recall that on June 30, Carolina traded Günzel’s rights to Tampa for a third-round pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.

NHL insider Bob McKenzie has announced forward Sam Rinehart’s salary under a new eight-year contract with Florida. The Panthers’ leading scorer last season will earn $8.625 million per season.
The 28-year-old forward became Florida’s best scorer in the regular season last season, scoring 57 goals in 82 games. Rinehart scored 94 points (57+37) in 82 regular season games, which became his personal best. In the playoffs, the forward scored 16 (10+6) points in 24 games. For most of the season, Rinehart was a linemate of captain Aleksandr Barkov.
In total, Rinehart has 538 points (255+283) in the NHL in 696 regular season games and 33 (21+12) points in 55 playoff games.
Remember that Florida beat Edmonton in seven games and won the Stanley Cup for the first time in club history.

Florida’s second goalie Stolarz has moved to Toronto
The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed goaltender Anthony Stolarz, NHL Network reported on its Twitter account X.
The agreement with the Club will be valid until 2026 and the goalkeeper’s cap will be $2.5 million.
Last season, Stolarz played as the second pick of the Florida Panthers. In total, he has 27 games in the regular season – 2023/2024, 16 wins, two clean sheets, a reliability coefficient of 2.03 and 92.5% of reflected shots. Stolarz made it to the playoffs once – in the fourth game of the final series against the Edmonton Oilers, after the main goalie Sergei Bobrovsky allowed five goals in 25 minutes.
Together with the Panthers, Stolarz won the 2024 Stanley Cup.
