“Tube” refers to young men aged 18-27 with a frail physique, who do not want to take responsibility, who are often hysterical, depressed and think only about their feelings. This type is the opposite of “masik”.
These young people are compared to a “tube” because of their unwillingness to play sports and their excessive thinness. That is, the word carries a clear negative connotation. In colloquial speech, a “tube” can be called a coward, a slob, a weakling. It is used to hurt the opponent.
Later, not only thin young men began to be called “tube”. Attractive and shy representatives of the stronger sex also belong to this type. The heroes of your favourite films could not go unnoticed. Internet users immediately after the appearance of new slang words began to assign names to the characters of the typology. Popular TV series, films and even cartoon characters included in the categories of youth slang were analyzed.
