Hello everyone! Today, July 15th, the final of the fifth season of the Media League will be played. And what a lineup awaits us: 2DROTS – “Brooke Boys”! Two of the strongest media clubs.
The Darts are two-time Media League champions and the Brooks reached the final last season. But then the team lost to Titan in an incredibly dramatic match. The Brooke Boys were leading 1:0 and the clock was already reading 0:00. Midfielder Alisher Rakhimov should have taken the ball into touch to end the net time of the match and the team became champions. But he advanced, shot on goal and in the next attack the opponent scored the return goal! And then won in a shootout. Drama.
Now the Broke Boys are back in the Media League final, where 2DROTS awaits them. The Darts had their incredible moment in the second semi-final of this season. The team’s goalkeeper Dmitry Sychev took a corner in the match against Titan when the score was 0:0 (in the first match it was 1:2), when the clock was already reading 0:00. And he miraculously hung everyone in the air and scored! And then the team won the penalty shootout, gaining access to the final.
