“Deadpool and Wolverine”: release date
The world premiere of the film will take place on July 26. Many domestic cinema chains have indicated that the distribution of the film in Russia will begin three days after the world premiere, i.e. on July 29. However, the release of the film in the country may be postponed, as was the case with the cartoon “Despicable Me 4”: the premiere was postponed the day before the premiere.

The events of the film take place some time after Deadpool 2. Wade Wilson has left the life of a mercenary and is living as an ordinary person. At one point, Wade’s measured existence is interrupted by the Temporal Change Administration (TVA) organization familiar from the Loki series.
She pulls Deadpool out of his universe to give the mercenary a task: save the entire universe from destruction. Wade enlists Wolverine’s help because he’s had to deal with something similar before. The main villain will be Cassandra Nova, a mutant and Professor X’s twin sister. Judging by the trailer, she can even defeat Wolverine without any problems, so the heroes will have to work hard to defeat her.
During their adventure, the heroes are expected to meet more characters who have previously appeared in Marvel Comics films. Including villains from X-Men films and other heroes. Peter, the crowd favorite from Deadpool 2, will also return.

Filming Deadpool and Wolverine
Filming began on May 22, 2023, in London, as well as at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire and Vancouver. The Writers Guild strike was initially expected to have no impact on production, but in June 2023, the film’s release was postponed to May 3, 2024.
Production was suspended on July 14 of the same year due to the actors’ strike. After the filming was completed, filming resumed on November 23. During production, many photos appeared on the Internet, including those in which Hugh Jackman appeared as Wolverine. The end of the filming process was announced on January 24, 2024.

The film was directed by Shawn Levy. He was appointed as the film’s director in March 2022. Levi’s filmography is rich: he directed the films “Night at the Museum 3”, “Real Steel”, “Personnel”, “The Main Character”, “The Adam Project” and many other films.
