FIFA 24 has become EA Sports FC 24: all the details of EA’s new soccer simulator

FIFA is gone, but the game remains.
There will be no new FIFA in 2023: it will be replaced by another football simulator from Electronic Arts under a new brand EA Sports FC 24 (literally “EA Sports Football Club”). One year after the announcement of the new franchise, the publisher has finally begun to share the first details.

What is EA Sports FC 24 (FIFA 24)
This is FIFA 24. The main change of the new part is the name change, while otherwise it will be exclusively the same game with the same content that you expect from every new FIFA. The name had to be changed as EA was not happy with FIFA’s requests to continue using the name on the cover.
Also, EA Sports FC 24 will not differ significantly from FIFA 23 in terms of content: in the same FIFA 23, for example, they made a big bet on the Women’s World Cup.

The main difference between the novelty will be the improved HyperMotion technology, which is now called HyperMotionV. “V” is short for volumetric.
HyperMotionV uses volumetric data from over 180 of the best World Cup, Premier League and La Liga matches to create the most authentic player movement.
As before, HyperMotion is only available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, while PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch players will have to make do with the old way animations work. Overall, the EA Sports team continues to focus more on expanding and improving gameplay rather than expanding content.
Overall, though, it will still be enough: over 19,000 players, 700 teams, 100 stadiums, and 30 leagues.
When will EA Sports FC 24 (FIFA 24) be released?
EA Sports FC 24 will launch on September 29 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch; However, Ultimate Edition buyers (Ultimate Edition) and EA Play Pro subscribers on PC will be able to play from September 22, and will also receive various bonuses.
EA Play subscribers will also be able to try the 10-hour trial starting September 22.
Switch owners will be in for a real surprise, because after several years of re-release of the same FIFA 19 on the Nintendo console, they will release a new version of the footsim on the Frostbite engine, which will be identical to the versions on PS4. and Xbox One.

EA Sports FC 24 release in Russia and Russian translation
Officially, the football simulator will not be released in Russia – EA has suspended work in the country in the spring of 2022. However, over the past year, stores have established rapid import of discs, and gamers have learned to buy in other regions; soon we will prepare instructions.
At the same time, the Russian translation, it seems, will be. Mention of the localization appeared on the Electronic Arts website, which is somewhat unexpected given the publisher’s other news: There was no translation in Need for Speed: Unbound, a Dead Space remake, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The game will have limited cross-play between PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, and between PS4 and Xbox One. Switch players will only be able to play and interact with each other. In Clubs mode, you can now share clubs within the same generation of platforms (separately between PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, separately between PS4 and Xbox One, players on Switch only between them). There will be “Player Career” and “Manager Career” modes. Female footballers will make their first appearance in Ultimate Team mode, and will also be allowed to be used in teams with male footballers, there will be no gender restrictions when forming your club.
