Intrigue: Will 17-year-old Yaroslav Dyomin make it to the Wibmldon junior final?
In a big fight, 17-year-old Yaroslav Demin also won his quarterfinal match in the junior singles category. In two tiebreakers in a row, the fifth-seeded Wimbledon junior overcame Pole Tomasz Berketa – 7:6 (7:5), 7:6 (8:6). In both games, the outcome of the meeting was decided by only a couple of draws, in which Yaroslav turned out to be stronger. In the semifinals of the English Slam, his next opponent will be a very young 15-year-old American Darwin Blanche, who won the quarterfinal against his compatriot Kaylan Bigun-7: 6, 6: 3.

In the quarterfinal matches, Yannick Sinner and Novak Djokovic in four games broke the resistance of two Russians – Roman Safiullin and Andrey Rublev, respectively. For Yannick, the next semifinal will be the first in the capital of England, for Novak – already 12. In total, the Serb reached the semifinals of the Grand Slam tournament for the 46th time, repeating Federer’s record. The winner of the last four Wimbledons from Serbia is flying full speed towards the fifth straight title, even continuing the path towards the Grand Slam calendar. This season, the Serbian athlete has yet to lose in TBSH. Will Sinner be able to stop him?

Two years ago, Daniil Medvedev defeated the young Spaniard in the second round of Wimbledon, losing just seven games in three sets. Since then, the 20-year-old Alcaraz has made great progress and is now number one in the world rankings. And this year, in the final of the Indian Wells Masters, Carlos already dealt a crushing defeat to Daniil. On Friday, in a face-to-face encounter, the Russian and Spaniard will fight for the first start of his career in the Wimbledon final. None of them had performed so successfully in London before.
