On September 6, a professional boxing tournament of RCC Boxing Promotions took place at the Traktor Arena in Chelyabinsk. The organizers put together a top card, which included several title fights. Of particular interest was the confrontation between Sharabutdin Ataev and Brian Suarez. Both were motivated to win, as they had an excellent track record. And most importantly, the second most important world title, the WBA Gold belt, was at stake. Therefore, the guys simply did not have to look for additional motivation. They were determined to demonstrate their best boxing.

Ataev (6-0, 4 KOs) has been performing at a professional level not so long ago. But so far he does it absolutely flawlessly. And most of the time he simply destroys opponents ahead of schedule. Therefore, even now they expected a very brilliant performance from him. Moreover, Sharabutdin has already managed to achieve his title. Ataev is the world champion among professionals according to the IBA version. Therefore, additional emotional pressure was imposed on him. But the opposition has also become strong. Suarez (19-2, 18 KOs) was famous for his knockout punch, as well as for his intransigence. Therefore, for Sharabutdin, the confrontation was to be a serious test of strength.
But the fight itself turned out to be very fast and did not please with any particular intrigue. From the first minutes, Atayev seized the initiative and began to throw punches. And the Argentine was not shy about opening up. Sharabutdin was in no hurry to rush into the attack, competently noticing all the mistakes and inaccuracies in the opponent’s actions. As a result, the first round ended calmly – no one decided to completely forget about defense and rush forward. But it was still felt that the Argentine acted nervously.

And in the second round, Sharabutdin decided to end it all. The Argentinean moved forward, but made a serious mistake. Ataev sensed it perfectly, who delivered a powerful blow and knocked his opponent down. It was clear that Suarez would not give up so easily. Then Brian rallied. But Sharabutdin could no longer be stopped. The Russian threw a right straight and followed with a left hook. After such an attack, the Argentinean again found himself on the canvas. He tried painfully to get to his feet, but could not cope with this task. The referee was forced to stop the fight.
Ataev won a beautiful victory and continues to advance in his professional career with an impeccable record. And most importantly, he hung a second belt on his shoulders – he became the WBA gold champion. The young Russian is rapidly developing in terms of opposition and achievements. Therefore, stronger and more skillful opponents are now waiting for him.
