At the end of April, the Chinese studio HoYoverse, which became famous thanks to the success of Genshin Impact, released a new project – a Japanese RPG. Honkai: Star Rail about traveling on a space train.
Despite the genre being unpopular in Europe and Russia, it has drawn a lot of attention. Thanks to familiar Genshin mechanics, engaging graphics, and brilliant characters, the new gacha is already earning tens of millions of dollars a month.

If you haven’t tried this game yet, you can try it absolutely free and without any restrictions for Russian gamers, both on PC and mobile platforms.
How to Play Honkai Star Rail on PC
The easiest and most obvious way to download the new Honkai part to your computer is to download the client from the official HoYoverse website. This can be done by following the link and clicking “Download Now” in the top corner or the Windows button at the bottom.

After the download is complete, run the file, agree to the user agreement and click “Install” – the main window of the Honkai: Star Rail client will open, which will download the game files. Once installed, the button in the corner will change to “Play”.

The client will also need to be updated before major updates are released every six weeks. And for the game, all that remains is to go through the registration procedure – you just need an email box.

Also, PC gamers can try the novelty in the Epic Games Store launcher. It is true that there is no difference with the first option; as a result, the same window will open, as in the screenshot above.

Everything is simple and clear here: we go to the App Store and look for a game. You can enter part of the name or scroll down a bit (usually the game is in full view due to its popularity) or follow the link directly to the application page.
Please note that only part of the content is initially downloaded to the device, the rest of the Honkai: Star Rail files can be downloaded after passing the prologue.

How to play Honkai Star Rail on Android
On Android mobile devices, everything works exactly the same. You can simply open the Google Play home page and search there for the March 7 icon with pink hair, or type “Honkai” into the search. In any case, finding the game’s page in the store shouldn’t be difficult.

Honkai Star Rail on PS4 and PS5
So far, Honkai isn’t available on PlayStation, but it won’t be long before it launches on consoles: the developers promised to release the game before the end of the year, presumably in September-October.

As for the prospects of the game releasing on other platforms such as Xbox and Nintendo Switch, the chances of this happening are slim. The developers do not deny this possibility, but the experience of Genshin Impact (announced on Switch, but there has been no news about the release for several years) shows that HoYverse is focused only on the Sony console.
