Russian fighters are very happy to try their skills abroad. This is especially true for young athletes who are eager to conquer important world promotions. And now there is another one of ours there: Alibek Gadzhammatov has signed a contract with RIZIN. Of course, the place to continue his career can hardly be considered the clearest. It must be understood that against the background of more developed leagues, promotion is frankly stagnant. But perhaps it is the attraction of young talents that can completely change the situation.

Alibek Gadzhammatov is only 22 years old, but he has already decided to approach the PFL and the UFC. There is no doubt that RIZIN will be a great starting point for him. The Russian debuted professionally in 2021. And now he himself has four victories in four fights. In addition, the fighter wins only ahead of schedule. And most importantly, almost constantly, in different ways. He defeated the first two opponents with his hands and then kicked them in the body. This is how Alibek made his way to the title of one of the brightest and highest-status boys of the ACA Young Eagles.

In his last fight, which took place in February at the ACA Young Eagles 46 tournament in Grozny, Gadzhammatov defeated Tajikistan’s Sherzodi Sadullo by third-round submission. It was this confrontation that was decisive for the entire development of the Russian fighter’s career. And he did not disappoint his fans. Of course, it was only possible to eliminate the rival in the third five-minute period, but until that moment Alibek dominated almost completely and did not allow anything to his rival. Therefore, the end of the fight was only a logical outcome. And the Russian travels to Asia as one of the most brilliant “graduates” of the Young Eagles.
It is worth noting that the choice of promotion may raise questions. But we must remember that Gadzhammatov competes in the flyweight division (up to 57.2 kg). This weight is not particularly valued in the UFC and is considered rather stagnant. And in PFL or Bellator the situation is almost the same. It is for this reason that it simply did not make sense to test strength there. But in RIZIN it is quite possible to lay an excellent foundation for the future.
