Spencer Dinwiddie, Quentin Grimes and Jaden Hardy are under contract for this season only, and the Mavericks could use a promising backup for Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Demin has a similar build to Doncic when he entered the NBA, and both played for Real Madrid, but Demin’s game has yet to reach the level of Doncic in his rookie season.
