Considering that more than 100 sets of medals will be awarded before the end of the Olympic Games, the difference of two golds seems insignificant. The most intense battle for first place in the unofficial ranking is still ahead.
The Australian team took third place with a lead. The representatives of the Green Continent managed to break away from their rivals for gold: 18 – 12 – 11. And for the fourth position, apparently, the teams that now have more than 10 victories will fight: France, Great Britain, Japan and South Korea.
Russia still has only a modest silver medal in its medal count. Our country has already dropped to 64th place in terms of the number of awards.
