“Neftekhimik” beat the current winner of the Gagarin Cup “Metallurg” on the road
The KHL regular season match between the hosts Metallurg and Neftekhimik (Nizhnekamsk) took place at the Arena-Metallurg in Magnitogorsk. The visitors won the match 2:0.
The first goal of the match was scored in the first half by Andrey Belozerov. At the end of the match, the guests doubled their lead: Vyacheslav Leshchenko converted his shot after assists from Vladimir Bryukvin and Ilya Pastukhov.

“Salavat Yulaev” defeated “Traktor” in a shootout
The regular season match of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) took place at the Ufa Stadium in the capital of Bashkortostan. The local “Salavat Yulaev” and the Chelyabinsk “Traktor” met. Salavat’s hockey players won the match with a score of 2:1.

Sorkin’s hat-trick against Admiral gave CSKA its first win of the KHL season
The regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) ended in the evening. CSKA and Admiral Vladivostok faced each other on the ice of the CSKA Arena in Moscow. The home team won this match with a score of 6:2.
The visitors opened the scoring in the match: Pavel Shen scored his first goal of the season in the third minute. The hosts responded with three successful shots in a row: the names of Vitaly Abramov, Maxim Sorkin and Ruslan Iskhakov appeared on the scoreboard. “Admiral” managed to pull one back thanks to Libor Shulak, but then Abramov scored a double and Sorkin scored a hat-trick, scoring two goals in a row.
CSKA, which lost to Spartak (2-4) in the first match of the season, has earned its first victory. In the next match, Ilya Vorobyov’s team will face Siberia (September 10).
For Admiral, this match was already the third of the new KHL season. Before that, Leonid Tambiev’s team beat Vityaz (3-2), but lost to Kunlun (4-5 in overtime).

Kunlun suffered their first loss of the KHL season, falling to Severstal
The regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) between Kunlun and Severstal ended on the ice of the Mytishchi Arena. The hockey players of the Cherepovets team celebrated their 4:2 victory in this match.
The home team opened the scoring: Nail Yakupov scored the majority, scoring the puck in the third consecutive KHL game. The visitors responded to their accurate shooting with goals from Andrei Churkin and Ruslan Abrosimov.
