The third day of Euro 2024 has ended and events are moving strongly. In addition to the football results, many questionable things happened off the field. In our summary we tell you the main highlights of the day.
Pico + Molotov Cocktail = shooting and hospital
Something incredible happened before the match between Poland and Holland. In Hamburg, a man with a pickaxe (!) and a Molotov cocktail almost burst into the crowd of Dutch fans. Only the police stopped him, taking all the fire. They tried to isolate the rioter and he challenged law enforcement officers. I had to shoot to neutralize the criminal and not let things get worse.

The Dutch team is powerful. Ronald Koeman’s team came back against Poland thanks to Wout Weghorst, the man who saved the Orange against Argentina in the 2022 World Cup. This time the great forward came back into play from the bench and with the first touch he successfully scored the goal by Wojciech Szczęsny. Elegant!

Bloody massacre in Gelsenkirchen
Before the match between Serbia and England, the fans of these teams fought in one of the central streets of Gelsenkirchen. The British media wrote about the possibility of a confrontation and, unfortunately, it happened. It all started in a bar, but the conflict quickly spread to the street, where improvised objects, such as tables and chairs, were already being used. Judging by the photographs posted on the Internet, there was blood… and a lot of it. English media reported that the Serbs attacked first, “bursting around the corner in black balaclavas,” after which chairs and bottles flew. 200 police arrived at the scene to break up the fight, which one Englishman told the Mirror “started out of nowhere.”
By the way, the Serbs also clashed with the Albanians. The first were attacked in a pub: there were about 30 criminals, all wearing black masks. As experienced fans say, the attack was planned: because ultras don’t attack just anyone in the first establishment they come across.
