On October 21, six games were held in the KHL regular championship. Let’s briefly summarize the results of the matches.
In Vladivostok, at the Fetisov Arena stadium, the regular championship match of the continental hockey league between Admiral and Spartak took place. The match ended with a resounding victory for the locals 4-3 in extra time.
Already in the first minute of the match, Spartak forward Nikolai Goldobin opened the scoring with a pass from Mikhail Maltsev. Midway through the first half, Andrei Mironov doubled the visitors’ lead, helped by Andrei Loktionov and Pavel Poryadin. The score was 3:0 thanks to Adam Ruzicka midway through the second half.
However, a few minutes later the hosts scored two goals with an interval of 20 seconds and restored the intrigue in the match. Egor Petukhov and Ivan Muranov distinguished themselves. Five minutes before the end of the third period, Kirill Petkov tied the score and sent the game to overtime. In overtime, a power-play goal by Georgiy Solyannikov gave Admiral the victory.

This match was defender Dmitry Vishnevsky’s 127th as captain of Spartak. The defender took first place among Spartak captains in the history of the KHL, ahead of Dmitry Kalinin (126 matches).
Taylor Beck’s hat-trick didn’t help Siberia beat Traktor in KHL home game
The match of the regular championship of the continental hockey league, in which Chelyabinsk Traktor and Sibir faced each other, has ended. The teams played at the Siberia Arena stadium in Novosibirsk. Traktor won 5:4 (2:2, 1:0, 2:2).
Taylor Beck, who scored a hat-trick, and Valentin Pyanov scored Sibir’s goals. Sergey Telegin, Steven Kaempfer, who scored a double, Vladimir Zharkov, Vladimir Tkachev scored for Traktor. For Beck, this hat-trick was the first in his KHL career.

The match of the regular championship of the continental hockey league, in which Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and Dynamo Moscow met, has ended. The teams played at the Arena-2000-Lokomotiv stadium in Yaroslavl. Lokomotiv won 4:3 (2:1, 0:2, 1:0, 0:0, 1:0) in the penalty shootout.
