CSKA did not win the RPL in two rounds in a row. Marko Nikolic’s team was able to break the losing streak in the home match against Akhmat. Sergei Tashuev has not yet managed to correct the plight of the inhabitants of Grozny. The last game was an easy victory for the locals.
Although the start of the match was not successful for CSKA. Already in the fifth minute we had to make a forced change: Rifat Zhemaletdinov injured the back of his thigh and Tamerlan Musaev appeared in his place. And “Akhmat” responded to CSKA’s attacks with their own attacks. I had the impression that the match would be interesting, double-edged and with intrigue until the end. But not. In the 19th minute, CSKA opened the scoring. Abbosbek Faizullaev received the ball, took charge of Darko Todorovic and shot into the bottom corner of Akhmat’s goal; Giorgi Shelia did not save. The Uzbek winger scored the first goal of this season!

After this CSKA relaxed. The team acted confidently, and Akhmat did not cause serious problems for the Muscovites. It is amazing to see the inhabitants of Grozny under the leadership of Sergei Tashuev. Usually an experienced specialist comes and immediately gives results. But this trick doesn’t work with Akhmat.

Interestingly, with the score 0:3, Akhmat finally went on the attack. But most likely, CSKA has calmed down and activated the economic mode. Although once Igor Akinfeev got involved and made a great save after Daniil Utkin’s attempt from mid-range. And the post helped the locals after a shot from close range by Mauro Luna. However, I never for a second thought that something epic would happen today. CSKA had everything under control.
“Akhmat” ultimately failed to upset Akinfeev. CSKA claimed its first RPL win since late August and overtook Spartak in the standings (possibly temporarily). Nikolic’s team is unstable: sometimes it plays great games, sometimes it fades. The Serbian coach needs to solve this problem so that CSKA can compete for medals. But “Akhmat” is stuck on the last line 16. So far, Sergei Tashuev’s magic does not work in Grozny.
