On Thursday, the Russian national team scored three goals against Vietnam, and the players and coaching staff noted the difficult weather conditions due to high humidity. But all this is completely insignificant compared to what may come. A powerful Typhoon Yagi is approaching the country’s capital, which has already claimed the lives of 16 people.
What kind of cyclone is this?
Yagi formed in late August and has already reached southern China. There it was described as the most powerful storm in the last 10 years. It is currently in Hainan province and meteorological services estimate the wind speed at the epicentre at 245 km/h. Some 420,000 people have already been evacuated. The Philippines was also affected: around 2 million people were affected by the elements. A local television channel reported 16 dead and 17 missing.
According to meteorologists, the cyclone will continue to the Hanoi region. It will be there on the night of September 6-7.
