Now, after each round, the “Championship” brings together a symbolic team of players who have shown their brightest in game week. Meet the top 11 players from the opening round, who we slotted into a 4-4-2 formation.

Goalkeeper: Matvey Safonov (Krasnodar)
Safonov was heavily criticized in the second part of last season, and for good reason. Matvey made a lot of mistakes and became the culprit for the conceded goals. In late spring, the captain even lost the competition to Stanislav Agkatsev. However, Safonov entered the new season in first issue status, and he did not disappoint. Matvey is not to blame for Dynamo’s goal, but he did drag the other three shots on target. And he helped Krasnodar win in Moscow with a score of 3: 1.

Left back: Nair Tiknizyan (Lokomotiv)
Tiknizyan impressed many in the spring, when he not only established himself in the status of a starting player for Loko, but also began to score, despite his role. The trend has carried over into the new season. Nair started the match against Rubin and scored one of his team’s two goals.
Central defender: Vanja Drkusic (Sochi)
Drkusic is one of the leaders in Sochi. In the match with Baltika, he only confirmed his status. Vanya helped his team deal with the RPL rookie in cold blood, and at the same time killed the intrigue in the 83rd minute, scoring a goal with the only strike in the game.
Central defender: Igor Vujacic (Rubin)
“Rubin” this summer produces extremely successful transfers. An example is Vuyachich, who went to the base in an away game with Lokomotiv and was closed by Artyom Dziuba himself. The star striker, as it seemed to many fans, disappeared on the field, and the main reason for this was the Montenegrin defender. On account of Vujacic solid three selections.

Right back: Daniil Khlusevich (Spartak)
Khlusevich, despite not having the most impressive defensive performance, also deserved to make the national team. Promes is another participant in Spartak’s enchanting victory. Quincy was traditionally active on the attacking left flank and earned an action on goal with his perseverance. It was his attention and precise pass from him that allowed Victor Moses to drive the ball into an empty goal in the first half. In total, Promes has four hits.

Defensive midfielder: Ugochukwu Ivu (Rubin)
Another great newcomer to Rubin. Ivu in the match with Lokomotiv burned the midfield, made one tackle and one interception each, and in general stood out among the players of both teams. Nigerian-born and Armenian international Ugochukwu is clearly one to watch, especially in the new season.

Attacking midfielder: Lukas Vera (Orenburg)
“Orenburg” almost made a splash in the away match with “Spartak” largely thanks to Vera. The Argentinian midfielder dispersed his team’s stream attacks after losing an opponent. It was Lucas who gave Dmitry Vorobyov the pass for the first goal and cut Gabriel Florentin’s diagonal on Orenburg’s second ball.

Right Midfielder: Benjamin Garre (Wings of the Soviets)
Garré is a Manchester City graduate, so after the transfer to Samara last season, miracles were expected from him. But Benhamin has never shown such a miracle as in the match with Akhmat in Russia. The Argentine made a solo pass, cleared out several defenders and scored, and the Wings finally won (2: 1). And throughout the game, Garre tormented his opponents with his sharp feints.
Center Forward: Mirlind Daku (Rubin)
Honestly, this is the last representative of Rubin. But Daku was too good to be ignored. Like Ivu and Vujacic, Mirlind joined the club this summer. And he also became the hero of the match with Lokomotiv. Already in the third minute, Daku scored himself, and in the second half he gave an assist to Joel Fameye, thanks to which Rubin again took the lead. The victory did not take place, but the performance of the striker is still impressive.
Center forward: Mateo Cassierra (Zenit)
Cassierra scored as many in one game as he had in all of last season. Maybe that says it all. Mateo hit three shots, hit two on target and twice the ball went into the net. This fact seems especially powerful against the background of the fact that Zenit won with a score of 2:0. Victory in the name of Cassierra!
Coach: Vladimir Ivic (Krasnodar)
The victory over Dynamo in Moscow, moreover, well-deserved and confident enough, what else is needed to “lead” the symbolic team? Ivic’s competitor was Viktor Goncharenko, but his Ural played at home and defeated CSKA, which, against the background of the lack of transfers and injuries, looks like a real crisis.

The place was not found for everyone, although, of course, there were other worthy candidates. For example, Krasnodar midfielder Alexander Chernikov, who helped put down Dynamo’s attacks. Or Orenburg striker Dmitry Vorobyov, who scored a masterpiece goal against Spartak and did not get into the national team only because of even more impressive performances from competitors. Rostov defender Maxim Osipenko, who scored against Fakel and helped his team start the season with a win, could also be in our team.
