Today, June 10, the draw for the group stage of the Fonbet Russian Cup for the 2024/2025 season, specifically the RPL Path, will be held. The ceremony will begin at 20:30 Moscow time. “The championship will take this important event online.”
Let’s remember the format of the tournament: the RPL Path is the top of the draw and consists of four groups of four teams. Premier League clubs fight among themselves for the playoffs. The first two places go to the quarterfinals of the RPL Route, the third places go to the same stage, but to the Route of the Regions.
In the lower part of the table, the Route of the Regions, the matches are played according to a different formula: six qualifying rounds, and only in the spring part do the teams from there face representatives of the elite.
