Another week gave us new transfers to the RPL. Zenit lost last season’s top scorer, and also exchanged goalkeepers with Sochi, and Lokomotiv sent the legionnaire on loan. Let’s talk about the main offers of the last week.

Malcolm spent the last season in the RPL so brilliantly that he was recognized as the best player in the league. The Brazilian with a Russian passport scored 23 goals and ranked first in the sniper list. Last week, Zenit sold the striker profitably, receiving 60 million euros for him, and Malcolm himself took the now popular route – Saudi Arabia. Naturally, there he received a bold contract.
Now he is waiting for the match in the same team with Kalidou Koulibaly and Sergei Milinkovich-Savic. After leaving Russia, Malcolm thanked Zenit. He posted on social networks a video clip with the best moments of him in a club in St. Petersburg and wrote spasibo.

Chidera Ejuke: CSKA Moscow → Antwerp (on loan)

The African followed the usual path for the last time. He again suspended the contract with CSKA (he had such a right) and went on loan to another club. A year ago, high-speed Ejuke moved to Germany, but it turned out so-so. 21 matches in “Hertha” and only 3 (0 + 3) points in the “goal + pass” system – this is clearly not what the heads of the Berlin club were counting on. Also, Hertha flew out of the elite division. This is such a sad result. Now Ejuke will try his luck at Antwerp, who were Belgian champions last season. There, by the way, there was a fantastic notch until the last seconds. In fact, Ejuke eventually left CSKA, because his contract with the army team expires in one year.

Another legionnaire who left Russia on loan. By the way, Rakognats, like Ejuke, moved to the Champions League club. Bačka Topola finished second in Serbia last season and will now qualify for the most prestigious club tournament in Europe.
The Montenegrin signed a contract with Lokomotiv a year ago, but spent the second half of last season in Serbia. He was rented by Crvena Zvezda, where Marko played 17 games and scored five goals. Now Rakonjac has a new attempt to gain a foothold in Serbia. By the way, Bačka-Topola has the right to buy the player at the end of the lease term.
Denis Adamov: Sochi → Zenit (1 million euros)

A new face has appeared in Zenit’s extensive goalkeeping staff. Adamov is a graduate of the Krasnodar Academy. He spent the last 2.5 years in the form of another southern club – Sochi. Apparently, this is a deal for the future. Mikhail Kerzhakov will undoubtedly remain the main goalkeeper, and Adamov and Alexander Vasyutin are now claiming the role of the second goalkeeper. It is curious that Denis was able to end up at Zenit back in 2020, but then the deal was closed. Adamov passed a medical, and then the clubs (Zenith and Krasnodar) did not agree on the terms of the transfer. And the blue-white-blues agreed with Sochi (surprising, isn’t it?), And Adamov signed a contract under the 4 + 1 scheme.

That is, in the future, apparently, he will have the opportunity to compete for a place in the base of the blue-white-blue. Goylo played last season for Paris NN (14 games, 21 goals conceded, four “crackers”). In the summer, Zenit returned his ward, but for this they had to pay 540 thousand euros. True, the goalkeeper did not stay in St. Petersburg for long.

The 21-year-old Yakovlev changed the second team from the RPL (at the end of last season) to the First League club. Before sending the player on loan, the army team extended his contract until 2026. The agreement between the clubs provides for a termination option. This is not the striker’s first loan, as he spent the second half of last season at Paris NN. There Yakovlev took part in 15 matches, scoring two goals and giving two assists. Now Vladislav awaits cut in the “Best League in the World”. And his new team scored just three points in the first three rounds.
Dmitry Poloz: Rostov → Torpedo (free agent)

A rather unexpected transfer. Last season Poloz scored eight goals for Rostov in the RPL (six from the penalty spot) and then left the team due to expiration of contract. It looked like the 32-year-old would find a new club in the RPL, but he ended up in the second division. Torpedo signed a two-year contract with an experienced footballer. Poloz has already made his debut for the new club – he spent 45 minutes in the game with Chornomorets (1: 1). And he gave an assist. Torpedo has seriously strengthened the team and plans to play in the RPL next season.
Georgy Gongadze: Fakel → Torpedo (free agent)

Another player who moved to the Torpedo as a free agent. Gongadze, like Poloz, spent last season as part of the RPL club. He became Fakel’s top scorer (nine goals), but left Voronezh due to expiration of contract. According to Georgiy, he was offered much less money than other strikers in the team. Gongadze was counting on a serious improvement in conditions after a successful season, but they did not grow together. The 27-year-old footballer signed a contract with a new club under the 2+1 scheme. By the way, Gongadze has already played for Torpedo – in 2021 he played several matches as part of the car plant.
