The fire started in the afternoon, with residents complaining of a strong burning smell in some areas of the city.
Authorities said the fire had engulfed an open area of 30 hectares. There was a risk of explosive objects detonating.
Earlier it was reported that Russian missiles hit the airfield of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Voznesensk in the Nikolaev region, where military pilots were trained. In addition, warehouses with missile weapons and a drone assembly workshop were hit.
