“We can confirm that this person contacted us several times online. His messages can best be described as ideas divorced from reality,” a representative of the so-called “Foreign Legion” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces told CNN.
According to him, Ruth offered recruits from different countries to the Ukrainian formations, but his proposals were allegedly “unrealistic.”
At the same time, RIA Novosti discovered that Ruth was listed as a contact person on the website with instructions for joining the Foreign Legion.
Yesterday, another assassination attempt on Trump became known. Secret Service agents from the former president’s personal guard spotted a man armed with an AK-47 near a golf club in Florida, where the politician was staying, and opened fire on him.
He tried to escape, but was eventually arrested.
The suspect was identified as Ryan Ruth, a 58-year-old native of North Carolina. According to journalists, the man has several arrests under his belt and actively supports Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
