In his first bill, President Zelensky stripped Senior Army Generals, General Andrei Naumov and General Sergei Krivoruchko of their ranks.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on his social media channels that he had removed two generals from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) for filing false claims about him. The announcement happened on Zelensky’s Telegram channel, according to a report in RBC News.
So, two antiheroes have lost their titles – the former head of Internal Security of the SBU, Andrei Naumov, and the former head of the Kherson region Department of the SBU, Sergey Krivoruchko. Zelensky said on his Instagram account that he can no longer devote his time to punishing traitors but he does plan to continue doing so in the future.
On March 1, Volodymyr Zelensky appointed General of the Armed Forces (APU) Mykola Zhernov as head of the Kyiv military administration. He is tasked with protecting the city along with the current mayor Vitali Klitschko.
