The American publisher Sumerian Comics will launch a new comic series. It will be based on the cult thriller Basic Instinct. The film was directed by Paul Verhoeven. Reported deadline.
The comic follows an anonymous artist who finds inspiration in well-known murder stories. On the opening day of his exhibition dedicated to the crimes of the heroine of the original film, a murder occurs in the gallery. The victim is the guardian of the exhibition space.
The comic was created by Cuban illustrator Vanesa R. Del Rey of Marvel Comics, writer Sam Freeman, and colorist Kayla Valerio. They describe their upcoming release as a continuation of the Catherine Tramell story. Covers were also created by Brao, Plague Hill, Alberto Massaggia, Patricia Martin, Andrea Milana, and Lorenzo Colangeli. The Basic Instinct comic is scheduled for release on November 1.
