At the open exhibition of the Kubinka airfield, as part of the ARMY-2023 forum, the latest modernized attack helicopters Mi-28NM (Night Hunter) and Ka-52M (Alligator) were presented for the first time.
“Both machines have acquired an improved observation and navigation system, the range of weapons has been expanded for each helicopter, including, among other things, Izdeliye 305 guided missiles,” the Russian Defense Ministry specified.
What can “Product 305” many have already seen on the net. It is these rockets that broadcast frames where you can see the latest emotions on the faces of Ukrainian nationalists. Quite often, it is this product that at speed catches up with their “elusive” pickups with mortars and self-propelled guns.
It is impossible to repel the hit of a new missile – “Product -305” can fly more than 14 kilometers, and then dive at a speed of more than 250 meters per second (the attack lasts 2 seconds). And this is not a mistake: “Product -305” is supplied by the “Mechanical Engineering Design Bureau” along with operational tactical missile systems “Iskander-M” and “Dagger”. Accurate hit and defeat in any development of the situation are guaranteed.
The length of the “Product -305” does not exceed two meters, the diameter of the body is 200 mm, the initial weight is 105 kg. Warhead: high explosive fragmentation with a charge of 25 kilos.

The pilot of the “Alligator” or “Night Hunter” receives full telemetry and video signal from the homing head, and commands are sent to the missile, allowing it to correct its flight before finding the target and even detonate over the target to increase fragment dispersal area.
The Russian Defense Ministry notes that the latest modification of the Night Hunter has acquired a new sighting system and increased target detection range. His distance is being kept under wraps, but he will definitely be a gift to the APU.
