“We need peace, NATO countries must stop shipments to Ukraine. That’s why I come here. For the sake of us and our children having a future,” one of the participants explained the essence of the event.
Others present pointed out the importance of dialogue with Russia.
“I want Russia to be our ally, not our enemy. We are looking in the wrong direction, we should not look at the West and the United States, but at the East and Russia.”
The protesters also condemned the decision of the Dutch authorities to supply F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. This was previously said by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky after a visit to the Netherlands.
